The Perfect Place to Gather
2. Those who have Christ indwelling their spirits are perfect.
4. To be perfect you must be “in Christ Jesus.”
6. We are all perfect in one when Christ is in the Father, and they are in us!
8. The word “ye” indicates we believers!
9. We would know all things if Christ was indwelling us.
11. The people to whom John wrote knew the truth.
13. John is concerned that at the Parousia (Second Coming, return presence) the people he is writing to will be ashamed at their lack of commitment to Christ.
15. They would know all truth and the things to come from the Holy Spirit.
17. They had not yet learned that Jesus would rise from the dead!
