11. More than likely the mixed multitude consisted of both Hebrews and Egyptians. The Egyptians most likely saw God’s power and joined the covenant people who left Egypt. There certainly were Gentiles included in this mixed multitude as shown by the scriptures studied in this Learning Activity.
