Imminency in the Bible

Part Three

In Learning Activities # 31 and # 31A, we examined a number of passages that, to this web site author, indicate that those in the early church were waiting and expecting Jesus to return in their lifetime (His Parousia or presence). Also, the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem along with Jesus bringing judgment upon mankind (known as the general resurrection and judgment) at His return (Parousia) is to be found in the Scriptures. In this Learning Activity we will continue to investigate these issues.
